Business Insider: Getting the HPV vaccine and regular testing can help protect you from high-risk HPV strains that cause cancer

More than two-thirds of women in the U.S. are unaware that virtually all cervical cancer is caused by HPV. And nearly half of women in the U.S. say they don't understand the difference between a Pap test and an HPV test.

During an interview with Business Insider, Dr. Jeff Andrews, VP Medical Affairs, Integrated Diagnostic Solutions, addresses these alarming statistics, noting, “Cervical cancer is the only type of HPV-related cancer that can be detected early on, and it's one of the few cancers that is almost entirely preventable.”
